Nissan has chosen Hawaii to be the first to see its pure electric vehicle called Leaf in a grand launching scheduled for January 2011.

AGL Energy Limited and Meridian Energy, a New Zealand-based energy firm, have notched a deal to develop a 420-megawatt wind farm in Victoria, Australia.
