 Geothermal energy source is considered renewable in the international community but in the Philippines, this is not classified as a “renewable energyâ€. This is because experts say that geothermal energy is indeed renewable but it takes a lifetime for the earth to renew it. Instead, geothermal energy source is categorized as an “indigenous†energy source in the Philippines.
